Somebody cue the confetti 🎉 🎊… it’s FRIDAY!!!🥳 🎉  you made it through another week! I’m so proud of you! I know, it was challenging but by the grace of God. He pulled you through! Before we get into today’s encouragement, here’s a little humor to start your day:

Now, let’s talk about how to use your words to uplift yourself! Self-care isn’t just about spa days and bubble baths—it’s also about speaking life over yourself.

Today’s Foundational Scripture: Psalm 141:3… Let’s dive in

Start your day with God… read Psalm 141:1-5 focusing on 3. Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips. Before your words escape, let God be the guard at the door of your lips. #speaklife. S.O.A.K… much love!!! 

David understood something powerful—we need God’s help to tame our tongue. The words we speak to ourselves matter.

Self-Care Tips for the Weekend:

✔ Affirm Yourself in the Mirror – Stand in front of the mirror and declare 5 positive things about yourself (Example: “I am strong, I am chosen, I am loved, I am blessed, I am walking in purpose!”).

✔ Declutter Your Mind & Space – A cluttered space can lead to cluttered thoughts. Take some time to organize and refresh your surroundings.

✔ Speak Life Over Your Weekend! – Declare in advance that this will be a weekend of peace, joy, and restoration.

Fun Challenge:

Try this: Every time you speak something negative about yourself today, stop and replace it with a positive statement. See how it changes your mood and mindset!

A Word for You:

You are not your mistakes.

You are not what others have spoken over you.

You are not what the enemy wants you to believe.

You are who GOD says you are! Walk in that truth today.
