You’ve carried all week—now let God refresh you!

You’ve been carrying your assignment all week—and we’re proud of you. You’re showing up, pressing in, and trusting God. But even warriors need to rest and recharge. That’s part of the process. Self-care is not selfish—it’s spiritual. When you’re whole, you carry better.

 

Foundational Scripture: Matthew 11:28-30. Let’s dive into the word…

 

Start your day with God… read Matthew 11:25-30 focusing on 28-30. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. When life gets heavy, Jesus offers rest- Not just for your body but for your soul. S.O.A.K… much love!!!

 

Jesus doesn’t say the burden disappears—He says He’ll carry it with you. True rest is found in His presence, and when you’re aligned with Him, even the heavy becomes holy.

 

Friday Self-Care Steps for Carriers:

1. Take a break without guilt. Schedule 30 minutes just for you today. Quiet time, music, a walk, or even a nap.

2. Release what’s not yours. Are you carrying something God didn’t assign? Pray and let it go.

3. Reflect on what God did this week. Write down one victory, big or small, and thank Him for it.

4. Invite someone to church. Don’t carry this walk alone—bring someone with you this Sunday at 12:45 PM!

 

I want to encourage you. You are growing, stretching, and becoming stronger every day. Rest isn’t quitting—it’s preparing to carry again with fresh strength.

 

Pray this prayer with today:

Lord, thank You for the assignment and for the grace to carry it. Help me find joy and rest in You this weekend. In Jesus’ name, amen.
