Refresh, Recharge, and Grow!
Good morning !!!
Happy Fun Friday! 🎉 I am so excited that the weekend is loading!!! I hope you have plans this weekend!!! If it plans to sit and do nothing… it’s a plan!!! 😂 Just make sure you plan on attending service on Sunday at 12:45! Invite someone to join you this Sunday. I’m pretty sure there’s someone out there waiting for you to send them an invite. Don’t be shy, step out on faith… God’s got this!!!
This week, we’ve focused on giving God everything we’ve got and maturing in our faith. Maturity is not just about spiritual growth—it’s also about taking care of ourselves so we can be effective vessels for God.
Today’s Foundational Scripture: 3 John 1:2. Let’s dive in…
Start your day with God… read 3 John 1:2-4 focusing on 2. Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. A healthy soul produces a healthy life—God wants you thriving inside and out! S.O.A.K… much love!!!
God wants us to thrive spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Part of maturing in Christ is knowing when to rest, reset, and refresh. Self-care isn’t selfish—it’s stewardship of the temple God has given you!
Self-Care Tips for the Weekend:
1. Create a Sabbath Moment: Take an hour (or more!) to unplug from technology, noise, and responsibilities. Spend time in God’s presence.
2. Do Something That Brings You Joy: Read a book, take a walk, enjoy a cup of tea—whatever recharges your soul.
3. Speak Life Over Yourself: As you rest, declare God’s promises over your life. Remind yourself that you are growing, maturing, and becoming all God designed you to be!
Fun Challenge:
This weekend, take 10 minutes to journal about where you see yourself growing. What has God been teaching you? Celebrate those wins!
Let’s take time to rest, refresh, and mature—so that when we come together on Sunday at 1 PM, we are ready to worship and give God everything we’ve got!
Pray this prayer with me today: Lord, help me to mature in my faith and care for myself well. Refresh my soul and renew my strength. In Jesus name~Amen.
Have a blessed and joy-filled weekend! 💙
Much Love 💕
